Privatization trick in electricity

İllicit and loss energy reaches up to 40 per cent in İstanbul. Mr. Erol Celepsoy, President of Chamber of Electrical Engineers – İstanbul Branch, (EMO) said that loss is depended on the pause of care, maintenance and renovation activities, due to privatization policies. “Service quality goes down with such wrong policies. But Turkey has a great loss during this process either” added Celepsoy. As EMO, they had been struggling with spoliation for many years, which were caused by Turkey’s energy policies, emphasized Celepsoy. He also underlined there would no need for privatization if the law was obeyed in 1970, which were passed to establish Turkish Electricity Institution (TEK).
